Streisand’s mom became very important to her daughter’s goals of pursuing a profession in show enterprise, which only served to push Streisand to strive harder. Her authentic dream was to become an actress. However, her achievement as a singer helped her comprehend that she should still acquire her acting goals via gaining popularity as a singer first.
